Pastor Cameron Ward lives in McHenry with his wife Katie, son Casen and their dog Kennedy. Pastor Cam and his family were unanimously voted in as the Lead Pastors of Maranatha in September of 2023. Pastor Cam, originally from Texas, can't let go of his painful love for the Dallas Cowboys and his joyous celebration of the recent Texas Rangers World Series Championship. Luckily, his poor taste in sports teams doesn't translate into other areas of his life, as evidenced by his ability to land the woman of his dreams in Katie. Pastor Cam teaches most Sundays and always brings an energetic and evangelistic approach to his messages. He loves to share God's word, teaching deep theological truths in practical life giving ways. Pastor Cam and his family love to play games, watch movies and do DYI projects around their home. Katie and Casen are the joy of his world. 

Katie has been leading worship at Maranatha since 2002. She grew up attending Maranatha and has continued to lead as a vital part of the church family. Katie's joy is her son Roan who is a mighty prayer warrior and amazing little man. Katie's heart for worship is so evident as she leads our church family and the worship team each week. She ensures our worship is exalting Jesus and putting our focus on Him instead of people. Katie also is a disciple-maker, leading a small group for ladies who want to Know God and make Him Known!

Valerie started serving as the Office Administrator in 2018 and has been attending Maranatha since 2010. Valerie loves to serve and there is not an area or team she hasn't been apart of! You will often catch her husband Jason playing guitar next to her on the worship team and their two wonderful kids, Weslyn & Artem in M|Kids with big smiles on their faces. Valerie is a prayer warrior who is passionate about helping those in need and reaching the lost. Valerie will do anything within her power to help a friend and serve with love.
